• REMINDER SYSTEM

The practice is committed to preventative care. We ask your permission for you to be included in our reminder system. As part of this reminder system, you may receive reminders for pap smears, immunisations, and health assessments if they are recommended by your doctor. If you do not want to be part of this system, please advise the doctor or the receptionist.

 

  • SMS REMINDERS

Our practice software may send out automatic SMS text reminder messages to patient’s mobile phones the day before a scheduled appointment. If you do not want to be part of this system, please advise our receptionists to opt out at any time.

 

  • TEST RESULTS

It is our policy for patients to make an appointment to see a doctor for the results of tests. Results may be provided by phone via a Telehealth Appointment (until March 2021). Most tests are available within two to five working days, unless advised otherwise.

 

  • COMMUNICATION POLICY

You can contact your doctor by telephone during surgery hours. Emergency calls will be dealt with immediately. Some doctors prefer not to be interrupted during consultations and the receptionist will take a message from you and relay them to your doctor when they are available. Contact by email is not available.
