Billing / Fees

  • We are a Mixed Billing clinic.
  • This means both bulk-billing and Private billing (out of pocket fee) appointments may be available. Some doctors do not bulk-bill at all, or may only bulk bill Children, Pensioners and/or Health care card holders; or offer reduced rates for these patient groups.
  • The fees charged by this practice have to cover all of our practice costs including employing receptionists and practice nurses, and meeting our operating expenses such as rent, medical equipment, electricity, computers and insurance.
  • Your doctor/nurse will explain any additional cost to you and obtain your consent prior to any treatment received.
  • Additional fees may also apply after 6pm, weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Some procedures, dressings, vaccines and other items may also incur a separate fee.
  • (If we do not confirm the booking type please enquire when you book your appointment).

*Please note that all payments are expected to be paid in full on the day of service and is the patients responsibility to do so.  Any accounts not paid in full will be followed up, and if payment isn't received within 30 days no further appointments will be offered until full payment is received.

Missed Appointments / Cancellation Policy

We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may need to cancel your appointment.  If this happens, we respectfully ask that you call in advance (at least within 2 hours) of your booking to cancel or re-schedule your appointment.

Our staff want to be available for the health needs of all our patients.  When you do not attend a scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen.

If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without adequate cancellation, you may incur a cancellation fee of $25 for a standard consultation or $50 for a long consultation.  (This failure to attend fee is not rebatable by Medicare).
